To the Principals and lead teachers of the Moderation Upper Hutt NLCKia ora koutouI hope you all enjoyed the recent down time and are feeling refreshed in order to tackle Tern 2.Our next cluster workshop was to be a half day for our lead teachers on the 18th May.To confused the situation, but also support our work, Learning Media are offering Overall Teacher Judgment workshops as part of their contract. They have all recently attended some PD in Auckland.Kay Brunton (Learning Media) has kindly offered to facilitate one for our cluster. In discussion with the Management team we would like to have this on the 18th, however it does mean it will be a whole day and Principals are encouraged to attend as well.We will be able to fit in some of the cluster work as well. See attached agenda.Also in preparation for the workshop a reminder about the tasks we were asked to look at from the previous workshop.Learning Media will be sending a flyer shortly with other dates for the Hutt 17th and 24th May.We hope you will be able to attend the 1 on the 18th – however it may mean you are able to send other staff to build more capacity within your school or if there is a clash. Unfortunately the contract can only pay the half day release so it is up to you to organise your team.We look forward to continuing our work on the 18th.
